Privacy Policy
Who we are
Overage is a native iPhone app that tracks lease, finance, or owned kilometres and shows estimated overage in dollars. Narciso Ventures publishes the app. Account, vehicle, and file data live in a standalone Supabase project in AWS ca-central-1 (Canada Central). That project is not a Narciso Ventures marketing site.
Information you provide
Account: email, username, and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google (when that option is enabled). Vehicle: make, model, year, colour, and lease or finance details you enter. Mileage: odometer readings and dates. Service: appointment types, dates, costs, and notes. Receipts and vehicle subscriptions you add. Car photos (up to 25 per vehicle). Lease documents you upload. Optional stats you choose to share from the app.
Camera and photos
Odometer photos are processed on this device with Apple Vision so you can confirm the kilometres. We do not upload odometer scans. If you add car photos or lease files, those images are uploaded to Supabase storage (car-photos and vehicle-documents). Camera and photo library access are used only for those features.
Lease adviser
If you use Lease Adviser, contract text and lease numbers you provide are sent to xAI Grok so the app can flag issues in your numbers. This is not legal advice. xAI is a processor acting on our instructions. Do not treat adviser output as a lawyer, a lessor, or a court.
Purchases
The app is free to download. After a 30-day trial from account creation, a one-time $0.99 CAD/USD unlock is processed by Apple through StoreKit (product com.narcisoventures.leasemileage.unlock). We do not see your card number or Apple ID password. Restore purchase is in Settings. Deleting your Overage account does not refund or remove that Apple purchase; it stays on this Apple ID.
Notifications and widgets
Local reminders to log your odometer are scheduled on your device. They are not sent through a marketing or tracking service. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets cache a small status snapshot in an App Group on this device.
How we use information
To sign you in, calculate lease mileage versus allowance, show widgets, keep service dates, store photos and lease files you add, run Lease Adviser when you ask, and (if you tap Share) create a stats image on device. We do not sell data, run ads, or include tracking SDKs. NSPrivacyTracking is false. There are no tracking domains.
Storage and processors
Account and vehicle data live in a standalone Supabase project (AWS-backed, ca-central-1). Photos and lease documents you choose to add are stored in the car-photos and vehicle-documents buckets. Passwords are handled by Supabase Auth and are not stored in the app in plain text. Widget status is cached in the App Group on device. Apple processes the $0.99 unlock. xAI processes lease-adviser text as described above. Google processes Sign in with Google if you use that button.
Your rights
You can access and correct vehicle and mileage data in the app, and you can sign out. Delete Account is in the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate: it removes your account, vehicles, photos, and lease files on our servers. It cannot be undone. The $0.99 Apple purchase stays on this Apple ID; use Restore purchase if you create a new account later.
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.
